Dear Mother Daughter Book Club Readers,
I am writing to you because I have my hands on a beautiful and haunting novel that I would love to share with your Mother Daughter book club. SARAH’S KEY by Tatiana de Rosnay is a book that comes around very rarely—each person I give it to reads it within days, or even hours, and comes back to me for a copy to share with their sister, daughter, mother, best friend… The story is one that imprints itself upon the heart and showcases the importance of family and love, while also teaching a tragic historical event of which very few people are aware—a perfect read for mothers and daughters of high school age and up.
I would love to share SARAH’S KEY this book with you in the hopes that you, as well as your daughters, will read it and be interested in making it a book club pick. All I ask is that you crack the book’s spine and read a few pages, because—if you do--you’ll agree with me that this is a book to read, to recommend, and to cherish.
Included in the book is a full reading group guide—with an interview with the author, historical information, further reading and discussion group questions.
I cannot convey to you the heartfelt responses in which I have been getting from everyone who has read SARAH’S KEY—it is simply overwhelming. If you’re interested in a copy (or a few) of SARAH’S KEY, simple send me your address. As I said, I would love to see this become a standard pick for book groups like yours. Feel free to email me or even call: 646 307 5654.
