I liked the book that my mom and I chose. I liked to see the pictures that Georgia O'Keeffe made. I feel that I was influenced by O'Keeffe with her abstract painting. Her flower paintings were the best!

Ruth Thomson's biography, Georgia O'Keeffe - Artists in Their Time, was a great introduction to the pioneer artist, Georgia O'Keeffe. The book captured a lot of the influences of her life and time. O'Keeffe's artwork is beautiful and expressive. I was thrilled to discover this great artist while reading this selection with my daughter. We look forward to many more discoveries.

The Georgia O'Keeffe DVD, part of the Great Women Artists series is a short 45 minute, narrated DVD that shows a lot of her artwork and gives many details of her work. Worth watching!
